Still time! By Amanda on November 24, 2008 6:56 PM | Permalink | Comments (9)
Still time to get your act together to see Justin Townes Earle. Except for Brisvegans, you snoozed you loosed.
Let me translate the weird American backwards date thing I just cut and pasted: Sydney is TOMORROW.

Really looking forward to seeing him tonight although haven't been able to persuade any friends to come along as well. If he's half as good as his dad was a few weeks ago then it will be an awesome night.

Oh cool. I'm going with 2 friend so that will be at least 4 of us. Plenty of tickets left according to the venue.

If you see me standing around on my own come and say hi (I look a bit like Philip Seymour Hoffman). I hate going to concerts on my own but I'm making an exception for Steve Earle's son.

The Cat Politics blog person Anne - alerted me to the free performance tomorrow at Basement Discs in CBD. I'll probably be in there for a meeting anyway. Was everyone wearing a suit and tie at the concert you went to?

I went to one of basement disc gigs last week, FXH! Great spot.
Nice blog Amanda - have been poking around and playing a few tracks etc. You should learn me how to embed audio one day when you get time!

On this platform (Movable Type) uploading an MP3 is as easy as uploading an image. When I was using blogger however I recall it being a nightmare to find out a way to do it, maybe there is a mative solution since January.
Mostly though I use 8tracks these days.
